About Us
The Flanagan family are from the Doolin area and have been running the hostel since 1995. Gerard Flanagan has a keen interest in the local music tradition and heritage of the region. He is one of the founding members of the Doolin School of Music and actively teaches, plays and organises traditional music classes in the local area. He is also involved in set dancing. Instruments that he plays include the harmonica, the spoons and mandolin.
